Best flat white in the Village and it is not close. The staff remember what you order after about the third visit, which I did not expect from a place this busy.
Came for coffee, stayed four hours working. Nobody hurried me, the WiFi held up, and there was an outlet at the table. That is genuinely rare downtown.
Lovely little room and very good pastries — get there before ten if you want the almond croissant. Gets busy at weekends, so expect to wait for a table.
The Hungry Man Breakfast is enormous and about half the price it would be two blocks west. Had it at 3pm on a Sunday and nobody blinked.
The heated patio in January is the best thing about this place. Wrapped up with a cortado watching Church Street go by. Perfect.
Solid coffee, friendly staff, fair prices. Small inside so it fills up, but the turnover is quick and the queue moves.
Omelette croissant is a genuinely great idea, executed properly. Also the only café nearby where the decaf tastes like coffee.
Have been coming here since they opened. It has stayed exactly as good, which is the hardest thing for a café to do.
